Hi. My name is Buck. I am a long hair orange tabby. Aren't I cute? My brother, Cisco, and I came to Happy Tails together. Both of us are extremely shy. Humans scare us. We like to be around other cats though. We feel safe with them. But all humans, right now, scare us.

We've been given toys to play with, but we aren't really sure what they are or what we're supposed to do with them.

We are curious about just about everything. But haven't found the courage to go exploring quite yet. Maybe someday soon.

Our future forever families need to be aware of this. We will need lots and lots of patience and time to trust. Cat-savvy adopters are what we both need. With a lot of time, we may become cuddly and affectionate cats. But we might not ever become cuddly and affectionate, too. Please be patient and kind.

I have been altered, vaccinated, dewormed, front-lined, and health checked.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
